Carmel Cottage, Spindrift Inn

Ideal Location - One block from the Beach, and one block to Laneda Avenue (main street); 6 blocks to Manzanita Golf Course. The address is 228 Carmel, near Merton, just behind the Spindrift Inn.

Features - Enjoy a quaint beach cottage with fireplace, updated kitchen, cabinets, appliances, and electronics. It has a lovely large back yard with many trees, and in the summer a stainless BBQ. The cottage sleeps 6 comfortably with a queen bed in one bedroom, two twin beds in second bedroom and queen-size sleeper sofa in living room. There is no cable TV, but complimentary movie rental and wireless internet at the Spindrift Inn next door.

Kitchen - Fully equipped including microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee maker, pots & pans, silverware, kitchen utensils and knives, crab cracker & picks, as well as some spices.

Fireplace - Bring your own dry firewood, or buy some at nearby stores. Please clean up after yourself, and monitor carefully for sparks.

Booking Requirements

Minimum Stay - The Cottage has a three to seven night minimum stay, depending on the time of year. Call us for details. Winter rates apply from October 1 through March 1, except holidays. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Payment - To secure your booking, one night room and lodging tax is due 14 days prior to arrival date and will be charged to your credit card at that time. This is not refundable. The balance of room and lodging tax charges, Cleaning Fee and Security Deposit is due at check-in. If the booking is made within 14 days of arrival, payment of all fees for the entire stay is due at the time reservation is made and is non-refundable.

Cancellation - Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival date are subject to a $50.00 Cancellation Fee. Since we cannot book replacements on short notice, there are no refunds for shortened stays, and cancellations within 14 days of the arrival date are charged for the entire stay.

Security Deposit and Cleaning Fee - A security deposit of $250.00 is due at check-in. The security deposit may be charged to your credit card. The deposit is refundable providing there is no missing inventory, smoking, garbage or damage. The Cleaning Fee is $50.00 and is due at the time of check-in.

Policies

Pet Policy - The Cottage is a pet-free property.

No Smoking Policy - The Cottage is a no smoking home. If smoking occurs in the Cottage a separate smoke cleaning fee will be assessed and deducted from the security deposit or charged to your credit card.

Check In/Check Out - Check-In time is 4 pm, check-out time 11 am. Early check-ins or late check-outs are not possible from June 1 - September 30.

Occupancy - Maximum occupancy for the Cottage is 6 people, including children and is not negotiable. If you exceed the limit, you will be asked to leave and no refund is issued.

Car Limits - 3 autos, or 2 plus a single boat or small car trailer; all must park off street and within the 2 columns on the South side of the Cottage. Car limits are not negotiable. Motor homes and campers are not permitted.
